Whatever I became today, is all because of my academic mentors who inspired me at various stages in my life. I humbly remember them at all times in my life.
My Academic Mentors
- Mrs. M. Radha Ramani B.Sc, B.Ed – My first teacher, who taught me fundamentals besides giving me birth. She had a passion for Botany and Zoology, which, I think, I inherited.
- Mrs. Nagasuseela M.Sc, B.Ed – My chemistry teacher in IX and X standard at Sainikpuri High School, Secunderabad. She used to have a vibe of a mother at school. I learnt two good qualities of a teacher from her – Simplicity and Patience.
- Dr. Sujatha Kiran M.Sc, Ph.D, Professor of Anatomy – Her energy in the classroom and dissection hall were enormous. She taught me how to be a devoted student and respect Anatomy with all humility.
- Dr. Nethi Siva Subrahmanyam, Professor of Embryology – At KIMS, Narketpally, I used to get the Virtual Realty experience during his embryology lectures. He made the imaginary subject real with his magical words and narration abilities. I still preserve his notes.
- Dr. Col. C. G. Wilson, MBBS, MD-Paediatrics – He is not only an excellent teacher but a compassionate human being who helped me in times of adversity and pulled me up in life. He taught me discipline in life.
- Dr. Barra Ram Reddy, MBBS, MD-Physiology – Professor at Osmania Medical College, Koti. Sir introduced an all new dimension in human Physiology. My exposure to digital physiography, thermodynamics of biological processes, mathematical frameworks in physiological processes under his guidance gave me a fresh outlook on human physiology.
- Dr. Madhuri Taranikanti, MBBS, MD-Physiology – Madhuri ma’am taught me the importance of clinical research and application of human physiology from bench to bed-side. She has also been like my close friend and guide.
- Dr. M. S. Reddy, MBBS, MD-Psychiatry – Beyond being my academic mentor, he is a highly inspirational positive influencer in my life. His work dynamics at clinic awe-inspiring. Besides being a popular senior consultant psychiatrist, he is an able administrator, a philosopher, and a student.
My Workplace
Currently I am working as Head-Academics, Research & Training at Asha Neuromodulation Clinics (ANC), India.
/ I handle treatments like Deep Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (DTMS) using H coils, High-Definition Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (HD-TDCS), Cognitive Assessment, Biofeedback; and I also handle research – both basic and clinical research.
